The Joyful Child: Montessori, Global Wisdom for Birth to Three
When a human’s physical, mental, and spiritual needs are understood and provided for, especially in the formative first three years of life, a true global citizen may be revealed; a person with a healthy self-image who has learned to know and trust others, who enjoys silence and deep concentration because the resulting joy, and compassion for others, has been experienced first hand. We have then a person who has the capacity to access the deep inner resources with which we are all born, and to nourish the lives of all beings and the planet herself. Happy Earth Day!
